Court is in Session

Good morning! I want to welcome everyone to my blog. Every morning I will be sharing with you a small devotional. I hope you will find these to be thought provoking and inspirational. This morning I will be sharing with you something that’s been on my heart lately. I often will drive into town and go to stores and shopping malls sometimes just to people watch. I am not looking for a specific behavior just observing the social interactions. There are many things that I notice and hear but  there is one thing that gets me all the time. I hear so many comments of judgment coming from the mouths of people.  I see so many people wanting to judge another person just because they don’t like the way they look or the color of their skin or the fact that they heard some nasty rumor about another person.

I am encouraged however at the fact that I do at times see consumers just enjoying the company of all God’s created people. There are some biblicial instructions concerning judgement and condemnation that I will share with you. Hear now, what the book of Romans says to us.

Romans 3:10-11; 23-24– As it is written: “There is no one who is righteous, not even one; there is no one who has understanding, there is no one who seeks God. Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. They are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

Let us be encouraged to not be so judgemental when it comes to our time spent with each other for none of us are perfect but can be made perfect in love. Christ died for all people no matter where their paths took them in their past or where their paths are taking them today. Instead of judging let us lift each other up in love and pray for each other with sincere concern and hope.

I hope that we will all this day be encouraged to let love shine forth.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Craig
